Here's a little history of Beth Levine and her influence on fashion boots. She has a collection of her work at the Met. And a book Published of her Footware.
Beth Levine's greatest influence is considered to be the re-introduction of boots to women's fashion in the 1960s.
Under the Herbert Levine label, bearing the name of her husband, Herbert Levine, Beth was the best-known American women's shoe designer from the 1950s to the early 1970s, and was called "America's First Lady of Shoe Design" until her death in 2006. Clients included three First Lady's including Jackie Kennedy, Celebrities like Barbara Streisand and Marilyn Monroe.

These are designer boots and YES they have Leather Soles - Not those cheap plastic soles most stretch boots have.
I had my Shoe Cobbler Re-Glue the leather soles. The glue was dry and didn't want you to wear them and soles peel right off. Very embarrassing.
Condition is amazingly clean. Very light signs of wear. Light wear to leather soles. Soles were re - glued by my Shoe Cobbler. No Odors. Fabric is loosing some of its elasticity.
Please note Vintage Lame Stretch Boots are fragile. Don't wear them out in the rain. Gently pull on like Panty hose or tights. Remember them? Bunch up fabric and gently pull on.
Size marked is a 7B Check measurements.
Measures out as the following:
17" Tall entire boot including heel
14" is top Calf opening stretched 13" unstreched
5" width of ankle
10" Outside heel to toe
3" is width of sole ( This style boot extends over sole about 1/8 inch.

I will not ship your item unless it's paid in full. When I mark a payment or deposit shipped, it's only for my shippers to know that it is not ready and I can take it out of the list of items to be shipped that day. When your item is paid it off tracking info will be uploaded automatically.
Please do NOT ask for your item to be marked as a gift or at a lower value at any time. This is will be refused. We cannot insure the package then and this is illegal.

We provide measurements and mention sizes in all our listings. We do our best to make sure all items fit and have a very high success rate. Our clothes and shoes fit our customers when they arrive if measurements are checked by the customer before purchase. You can also ask questions which we are happy to answer to assist everyone before purchase. We reply quickly too!
If items are damaged post receiving them it is not our responsibility to fix these issues. We carefully inspect everything the best that we can.
If you are in the EU and try to return an item you will be banned from shopping with us indefinitely.
If you require pictures or any additional information than provided, please ask because I am happy to assist you before the purchase is made. I give very detailed descriptions and do the best that I can.
We pay a lot to have things cleaned and repaired, but remember these items are old & used and things could be missed. We do not guarantee these things because they are not new. If shoes break heels, need new adhesive, need new soles, new inserts these are things we cannot promise won't need to be repaired, especially once worn. We do not put all our items through a test by wearing them ourselves so we cannot guarantee them needing further restoration.

If you attempt to force a return by shipping the item back to us, we do not refund your payment. You are responsible to pay to ship the item back to you or be out the total amount.

Rare vintage items are expensive as well as collectible. We focus on the fellow collector in our business. This is why items are put into the best condition we can possibly get them in. Our cleaning bills are what stores pay in rent every month, but we put this money into the products we sell instead.
